1. Acceptance

By accessing or using this website, registering for training, creating or using a learner account, or accessing LAEC course materials, you agree to these Terms of Use and the related Privacy and Cookie Policies.

2. Permitted Use

You may use the website and Learning Academy for lawful educational, professional, agricultural, and training purposes. Access is personal, limited, revocable, and subject to account approval and course assignment.

3. Accounts and Security

4. Enrollment and Course Access

Submitting a registration application does not guarantee acceptance. LAEC may approve, reject, defer, limit, or revoke enrollment based on eligibility, capacity, program requirements, security, conduct, funding arrangements, or other legitimate considerations.

5. Assessments and Completion

Learners must complete required lessons, Key Checks, assessments, feedback, and certificate procedures honestly. Attempts to manipulate progress, scores, Firestore records, browser storage, authentication, or certificate eligibility may result in suspension, invalidation of completion, or revocation of a certificate.

6. Educational and Technical Disclaimer

LAEC materials are intended for education and professional development. Agricultural recommendations must be adapted to local conditions, current regulations, farm resources, weather, pest conditions, and competent technical advice. Course content does not replace site-specific professional, legal, financial, medical, veterinary, engineering, or regulatory advice.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website design, original text, training structure, graphics, branding, assessments, and LAEC-created materials are owned by or licensed to LAEC Inc. Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used subject to attribution, permission, license, or applicable law.

You may not reproduce, sell, republish, scrape, distribute, modify, remove attribution from, or commercially exploit protected course content without written authorization from LAEC or the relevant rights holder.

8. Prohibited Conduct

9. Availability and Changes

LAEC may update, suspend, reorganize, replace, or discontinue any page, course, feature, assessment, schedule, or service. Temporary outages may occur because of maintenance, internet disruption, third-party service failures, security incidents, or events beyond LAEC's reasonable control.

10. Certificates

A certificate confirms that the learner satisfied the applicable LAEC course requirements recorded by the platform. It does not automatically constitute a government license, academic degree, professional accreditation, TESDA qualification, employment guarantee, or authority to perform regulated activities unless explicitly stated.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, LAEC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or business losses arising from reliance on general course information, service interruption, third-party services, device problems, loss of local browser data, or unauthorized account use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. The parties should first attempt good-faith resolution of disputes. Any unresolved dispute shall be handled in the proper Philippine venue and forum, subject to applicable law.
